Soul consciousness begins with the recognition that we are not merely physical entities but souls—conscient points of light and energy.
In contrast, body consciousness, which is the identification with our physical form and material possessions, gives rise to vices such as lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego.
Journey from Body to Soul Consciousness
Transitioning from body consciousness to soul consciousness is a gradual process. Initially, we are fully identified with our bodies and the roles we play in the material world. Over time, with spiritual practice and self-awareness, we begin to shift our identity from the body to the soul.
A crucial aspect of this journey is meditation. By regularly practicing meditation, we can reinforce our awareness of being a soul.
